1.) Greene Homestead Tours
Where/When: Gen. Nathanael Greene Homestead (50 Taft St.) ; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m.

Why Go: The historic 1770 homestead of Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene is now open for tours. For more information, visit www.nathanaelgreenehomestead.org.

Where/When: Coventry High School; Friday, 4 p.m.
Why Go: Cheer on the Coventry Oakers while they take on Tollgate High School!
Pricing: $4/adult, $2/student
Where/When: Begins at Feinstein Middle School and ends at Coventry High School; Friday, 10:45 a.m.
Why Go: Celebrate Coventry High School's Homecoming by attending the annual parade that will begin at ASFMS and proceed to Knotty Oak Road, Route 117, Sandy Bottom Road, Wood Street, Rathbun Street, South Main Street, Tiogue Avenue and Reservoir Road, where it will conclude at CHS. There will be floats, music, performers and candy!

4.) Artisan Craft Fair
Where/When: Coventry Town Hall Council Chambers and Library Foyer; Saturday, 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Why Go: The Friends of the Coventry Library are hosting their second annual Artisan Craft Fair at Town Hall on Saturday. Shop for locally-made arts and crafts right here in town!
Pricing: Free admission
5.) JPCA Clambake
Where/When: Colwell's Campground (119 Peckham Ln.); Saturday, 6 p.m.
Why Go: Help support the Johnson's Pond Civic Association by attending their Clambake this weekend! Enjoy live music, clamcakes and chowder, lobster or steak, steamers, tossed salad, corn on the cob, baked potatoes, watermelon, a cash bar and a separate cigar tent! Cash bar starts at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m.

6.) Community Blood Drive
Where/When: Church of the Apostles (170 Fairview Ave.); Sunday, 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Why Go: Be a hero and save a life, or three by donating blood on Sunday!

7.) Line Dancing
Where/When: Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge; Sunday, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Why Go: Want to try something a little different this weekend? Then try your hand (or feet) at line dancing. All ages and abilities are welcome. For more info call Jerry (397-3700) or Lori (206-3618).
