Salon Serenity to Host Charity Cut-a-Thon

Proceeds will benefit the rehabilitation of a future local homeless shelter for young adults.

On Sunday, June 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Michael & Barbara Absi, owners of Salon Serenity (577 Tiogue Ave.), will host a salon service fundraiser to benefit the local homeless community.

The Cut-a-Thon and Mini Manicure Fundraiser will feature discounted haircuts ($20 for women, $15 for men, $12 for children 12 and under), and $10 mini manicures. Refreshments will be served, prizes will be won, and a variety of vendors will also be displaying their products and services, including a selection of handcrafted items.
