Post Your Blizzard of '78 Photos!

We're looking for your photos and stories from the Blizzard of '78.

This week marks the 36th anniversary (yes, it's really been 36 years) of the Blizzard of '78.

The storm broke records, dropping 27 inches of snow throughout most of the Boston and Providence areas. The region was in a standstill post-blizzard, which caused more than $520 million in damage. (It would have cost $1.86 million in today's figures.)

Newscasts were overtaken with images of New Englanders shoveling out from the feet of snow, cars abandoned on highways, collapsed roofs, and more. (Imagine what Instagram would've looked like if it had existed back then.)

Unfortunately, Patch (and Instagram) weren't around to document the storm. But, we still can take a look back at the Storm of the Century.

That's where you come in: we want to hear your stories and see your photos from the storm.

Add your photos of the blizzard to our photo gallery. If you have a memory or story to share, please add that, too!
