1.Senior Center Breakfast in October

Where/When: Coventry Senior Center (50 Wood St.); Friday 7:30 to 9 a.m.

Why Go: The Coventry Senior Center will hold its monthly breakfast on Friday. Enjoy scrambled eggs, choice of bacon or sausage, French toast or English muffin, with juice, coffee and tea. All are welcome!

Pricing: $3/person

2.Toddlers, Tunes and Tales

Where/When: Coventry Public Library; Fridays 10-10:30 a.m.

Why Go: The Coventry Public Library hosts a Friday morning program each week beginning Oct. 12 for 1 to 3-year-olds accompanied by a parent or caregiver. The activity features songs, movement and a story. Please call the library at 922-9100 to register.

3.Greene Homestead Tours

Where/When: Gen. Nathanael Greene Homestead (50 Taft St.); Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m.

Why Go: The historic 1770 homestead of Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene is now open for tours. For more information, visit www.nathanaelgreenehomestead.org.

Pricing: $5/adult, $3/child

4.Coventry's Got Talent Semi-Finals

Where/When: Cornerstone Church (1081 Main St.); Friday, 7 p.m.

Why Go: Visit Cornerstone of Faith Church to watch the a group of talented Coventry performers compete to move on to the Coventry's Got Talent Finals on Nov. 2. Click here for more information.

Pricing: $5/person, children 12 and under are free

5.) Ocean State Harley-Davidson Halloween Bash

Where/When: Ocean State Harley-Davidson (435 Nooseneck Hill Rd., Exeter); Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Why Go: Dress up in your costume and stop by the Harley-Davidson Country Store Dealership this weekend for the shop's annual family Halloween Bash. Activities for children include face painting, a scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, and of course a costume contest! Food and beverages will also be served. Click here for more details.

Pricing: Free to the publiv with a suggested donation upon entrance to benefit the local Muscular Dystrophy Association located in Warwick.

6.Western Coventry Harvest Fest

Where/When: Western Coventry Elementary School; Saturday, 4-8 p.m.

Why Go: Western Coventry School will host its Harvest Fest this Saturday from 4-6 p.m. followed by the Lighting of the Lanterns from 6-8 p.m. 

Pricing: A canned good or $1 per person

7.Community Blood Drive

Where/When: SS John & Paul Parish Hall (341 Main St.); Sunday, 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Why Go: Be a hero and donate blood this weekend!

8.) Greene Harvest Marketplace

Where/When: Greene Public Library (179 Hopkins Hollow Rd., Greene); Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Why Go: Greene Library will hold a Bake & Fall Marketplace Sale this weekend, featuring a bake sale, local cranberries, Vermont cheese, craft items and more. 

Pricing: Free admission

9.) Line Dancing

Where/When: Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge (42 Nooseneck Hill Rd., West Greenwich); Sunday, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Why Go: Want to try something a little different this weekend? Then try your hand (or feet) at line dancing. All ages and abilities are welcome. For more info call Jerry (397-3700) or Lori (206-3618).

Pricing: $6 per person to benefit Elks and Emblems charities.
