1.Toddlers, Tunes and Tales

Where/When: Coventry Public Library; Fridays 10-10:30 a.m.

Why Go: The Coventry Public Library hosts a Friday morning program each week beginning Oct. 12 for 1 to 3-year-olds accompanied by a parent or caregiver. The activity features songs, movement and a story. Please call the library at 922-9100 to register.

2.Coventry's Got Talent Finals

Where/When: Cornerstone Church (1081 Main St.); Friday, 7 p.m.

Why Go: Visit Cornerstone of Faith Church to watch the a group of talented Coventry performers compete win the first annual "Coventry's Got Talent" competition and win prize money! Click here for more information.

Pricing: $5/person, children 12 and under are free

3.Greene Homestead Tours

Where/When: Gen. Nathanael Greene Homestead (50 Taft St.); Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m.

Why Go: The historic 1770 homestead of Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene is now open for tours. For more information, visit www.nathanaelgreenehomestead.org.

Pricing: $5/adult, $3/child

4.Kids Workshop at The Home Depot

Where/When: Home Depot (700 Centre of New England Blvd.); Saturday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. 

Why Go: Children ages 5-12 can participate in a free Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday at the local Home Depot store. The Kids Workshop is a "How-To" program where children will be able to make some useful projects like tool boxes, pencil boxes, coaster sets, etc. For more information, call 823-5173.

5.Rice City Church Bazaar

Where/When: Rice City Church (63 Vaughn Hollow Rd., Greene); Saturday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. 

Why Go: Rice City Church will host a Christmas Bazaar and Luncheon on Nov. 3. The lunch counter will be serving corn chowder, hot dogs, chips, Johnny Cakes and assorted desserts. Call Phyllis at 397-5743 for more information.

6.St. Vincent de Paul Harvest Bazaar

Where/When: St. Vincent de Paul Church (6 Saint Vincent De Paul St.); Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. 

Why Go: Saint Vincent De Paul Church will hold their Harvest Bazaar this weekend. Stop by for great food, bargains galore and fun for all ages.

Pricing: Free admission

7.) Our Lady of Czenstochowa Holiday Bazaar

Where/When: Our Lady of Czenstochowa School (222 MacArthur Blvd.); Sunday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. 

Why Go: Stop by this year's Holiday Bazaar and enjoy food, raffles, children's games, crafts, theme baskets, Dessert Bingo, a Bake Shop and more! Breakfast will be served from 9-11 a.m., followed by Polish and American food served from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call 821-7991 for more information.

8.) Line Dancing

Where/When: Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge (42 Nooseneck Hill Rd., West Greenwich); Sunday, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Why Go: Want to try something a little different this weekend? Then try your hand (or feet) at line dancing. All ages and abilities are welcome. For more info call Jerry (397-3700) or Lori (206-3618).

Pricing: $6 per person to benefit Elks and Emblems charities.
