1.) CHS Spirit Week Lip Sync Competition

Where/When: Auditorium; Friday 5 - 6:30 p.m.

Why Go: All four classes have spent months perfecting their acts and they need help from fellow classmates to cheer them on! Tickets will go on sale at 4:30 p.m. and each student in attendance will earn two points for their class. The overall Spirit Week winner will be announced at the end of the event.

Pricing: $5/person or $4 and a canned good to benefit the Coventry Food Bank

2.) Parks & Recreation Family Bingo

Where/When: ; Friday 6:30 - 8 p.m.

Why Go: Take the family to the 6th annual winter family bingo! All ages are welcome (an adult must accompany children). The first number will be called at 6:30 and the last card no later than 8 p.m. There will be prizes as well as refreshments at a nominal charge.

3.) Coventry Cal Ripken Final Registrations

Where/When: ;  Saturday - 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Why Go: This is the last day for walk-in registrations for the 2012 season. Online registrations and more information can be found at www.coventrycalripken.com.

Pricing: Varies based on registration

4.) Coventry Women's Slow Pitch Softball Registration

Where/When:Saturday - 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Why Go: Players can register today for the 2012 season. Online registrations and more information can be found at www.leaguelineup.com/coventrywomen.Bring a valid form of ID with name and current address.

Pricing: $75/person

5.) Greene Library LEGO Club

Where/When: (179 Hopkins Hollow Rd., Greene); Saturday 10-11 a.m.

Why Go: Children in grades 1-5 are invited to bring their imagination to the Library's LEGO Club! Call 397-3873 for registration information.

Pricing: Free (Registration required)

6.) St. Patrick's Day Parade

Where/When: Beginning at Ianotti's Funeral Home on Rt. 117 (West Warwick Ave.) and onto Main St. in West Warwick; Sunday 1p.m.

Why Go: Break out your green attire and join local residents for the Town of West Warwick's annual St. Patrick's Day parade!
