Where/When: Greene Public Library; Fridays 10-10:30 a.m.

Why Go: The Greene Public Library hosts a Friday morning program each week beginning for 1 to 3-year-olds accompanied by a parent or caregiver. The activity features songs, movement and a story. Please call the library at 397-3873 to register.

2.) Community Blood Drives

Where/When: Coventry Credit Union, 1584 Nooseneck Hill Rd. and Sunday 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Sts. John & Paul Parish Hall, 341 South Main St.

Why Go: Be a hero and donate blood this weekend! The Rhode Island Blood Center Bloodmobile will be stationed in Coventry on Friday and Sunday for those interested.

3.) Greene Library LEGO Club

Where/When: Greene Public Library (179 Hopkins Hollow Rd., Greene); Saturday 10-11 a.m.

Why Go: Children in grades 1-5 are invited to bring their imagination to the Library's LEGO Club! Call 397-3873 for registration information.

Pricing: Free (Registration not required)

4.) Community Flu Vaccine Clinic

Where/When: Coventry High School (40 Reservoir Rd.); Saturday 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Why Go: Keep you and your family (ages 6 months and up) healthy during this flu season and get vaccinated this weekend. No money will be collected, but if you have insurance, please bring your card. Inaddition to the flu vaccine, pertussis (whooping cough) and pneumonia vaccines will also be available. 5.) CHS Band Fundraiser

Where/When: Olde Theater Diner (33 Sandy Bottom Rd.); Saturday 10-11 a.m.

Why Go: Coventry High School band students will host a fund-raising dinner to help defray costs of the band field trips for the students. Admission will include dinner, jazz band performances and the opportunity to enter a 50/50 raffle.

Pricing: $20 per person

6.) Canine Caregiver Benefit

Where/When: Mishnock Barn (200 Mishnock Rd., West Greenwich); Sunday, 5-9 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy good food and live entertainment with friends for a great cause! Coventry resident Tyffanie Silva, who has been battling Multiple Sclerosis for nine years is in need of a canine caregiver to regain her independence! The benefit will feature music from four local bands, raffles and food. Click here to RSVP and check out all the details. 7.) Line Dancing

Where/When: Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge (42 Nooseneck Hill Rd., West Greenwich); Sunday, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Why Go: Want to try something a little different this weekend? Then try your hand (or feet) at line dancing. All ages and abilities are welcome. For more info call Jerry (397-3700) or Lori (206-3618).

Pricing: $6 per person to benefit Elks and Emblems charities.
