For Adoption at Coventry Animal Control: Mom and Daughter Canine Duo
These pups are ready for forever homes with loving families.
Ready for an addition to your family? How about a furry one? Coventry Animal Control officers recently asked me to visit this mommy and daughter duo in hopes of finding them forever homes.
In need of loving families are two female mixes, possibly part lab, but Animal Control officers aren't positive. The mother is chocolate brown and estimated to be about 3 to 4 years old. She is up-to-date with her shots and has tested negative for heartworm, but does still need to be spayed.
The female puppy is black with some white markings and is approximately 4 months old.
According to Animal Control Officer Carolyn Lacombe, the pair was found off of Fairview Ave. several weeks ago and both dogs are now ready to be welcomed into new homes.
A $40 adoption fee is required per animal, $30 of which is returned once proof of spay from a vet is brought to Animal Control.
Want to adopt one or both of these furry friends? Contact Coventry Animal Control at 822.9106 or stop by the pound, located behind Town Hall on Flat River Road. Click here for Animal Control hours of operation. Note, Animal Control will be closed the weekend of Dec. 7-8, 2013.
