Every child who signs up for a card at the Coventry Public Library in September will receive a plush animal and a welcome packet. Adults and teens that apply in September will be entered into a raffle to win Showcase Cinemas movie passes!

Greene Famers' Market: The Greene Public Library Farmers' Market (179 Hopkins Hollow Rd., Greene), is open today from 4-7 p.m. There will be fresh bread, pies, herbs, veggies, original art, natural cosmetics and more. Rain or shine!

School Committee Meeting: The Coventry School Committee will meet this evening at 7 p.m. at the School Administration Building across from Town Hall. Click here or see the attached PDF for tonight's agenda.

Plan Ahead: Sign up today to participate in the Coventry Cares for Chris Fundraiser and Bike Run on Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. The run to benefit Coventry resident, 11-year-old Christopher Carlino who is battling Stage 4 Lymphoma for the second time will kick off from the General Country Store parking lot (10 Hope Furnace Rd., Scituate) and finish at the West Warwick Elks' Lodge (60 Clyde St., West Warwick).
