Greene Homestead Tours: The historic 1770 homestead of Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene (50 Taft St., Coventry) is now open for tours. Today's visiting hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $5/adult, $3 child. Visit www.nathanelgreenehomestead.org for more info.

Plan Ahead: The Western RI Civic Historic Society will host the presentation, "Traces of the Trade", told by Producer/Director Katrina Browne on Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. at Coventry Public Library. Browne will tell the story of her forefathers, the largest slave-trading family in US history. Call Jane at 822-9100 for reservations.
