Five Things You Need To Know Today, October 4

Today is Thursday, Oct. 4. Here are five Coventry-related things that you should know about.

College Planning Night: Coventry High School will host a college planning event this evening at 6:30 p.m. This presentation is applicable for those planning to attend a 4-year school.

Help CHS Lacrosse: The Coventry Lacrosse team is unfunded by the school and they need donations from residents to continue and play another great season. Click here to find out how to help.

Book Discussion Group: "All Booked Up", located at 799 Tiogue Ave., will host a book discussion tonight at 7 p.m. on the book The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. (I've read it and it was great!)

Broadway Shows at PPAC: There are still spots available for various Parks & Recreation Department trips to view popular Broadway productions at the Providence Performing Arts Center. Check out the attached PDF list of shows and call 822-9107 for registration information. Coventry residents only.

Political Profiles: Are you a political candidate in the upcoming election? Coventry Patch is would like to publish profiles on local candidates. Click here to fill out a quick surveyor contact Editor Lauren Costa at lauren.costa@patch.com to get started.
