Today is Wednesday, Oct. 3. Here are five things you need to know:

 

CPL Book Discussion: Coventry Public Library will host its monthly Book Discussion group on Monday, Oct. 22. This month's book is Clara and Mr. Tiffany by Susan Vreeland. Pick up a copy at the circulation desk!

Western PTA: Western Coventry School's October PTA meeting will be held tonight at 6:30 p.m. Babysitting will be available.

Cub Scout Sign Up: Boys in grades 1-5 are welcome to join check out what it is to be a Cub Scout and sign up if they'd like to tonight from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Coventry Senior Center (50 Wood St.) Join us for some FUN, make new friends and learn something new. Walk to School: Today is International Walk to School Day! Three Coventry schools are participating, however because of NECAP testing, the events will take place at later dates. Hopkins Hill and Blackrock will be participating on Friday, Oct. 5 and Washington Oak on Monday, Oct. 22.

Evening Storytime: The Coventry Public Library offers Evening Storytime tonight, for children ages 3-8 on beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event will feature stories, fingerplays, flannelboards, songs and crafts and children are invited to wear their PJs! No registration is required.
