Five Things You Need To Know Today, October 2

Today is Tuesday, Oct. 2. Here are five things you need to know:

 

NECAP: The reading portion of the New England Common Assessment Program (NECAP) will begin district-wide today and will continue through Oct. 4. School Administrators ask that students get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast and be on time for school, especially during these days.

Flu Clinic: Alan Shawn Feinstein Middle School will host a flu clinic this evening from 4-6:30 p.m. Come and get your flu shot to make sure you have a happy and healthy winter!

Greene Famers' Market: This is the second to last week for the 2012 Greene Public Library Farmers' Market (179 Hopkins Hollow Rd., Greene)! It is open today from 4-7 p.m. There will be fresh bread, pies, herbs, veggies, original art, natural cosmetics and more. Rain or shine!

Paul Revere - Patriot or Traitor? Norman Desmarais, Librarian Emeritus from Providence College and Revolutionary War re-enactor will tell the story of the court martial of the hero, Paul Revere. The presentation will begin tonight at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chambers. Call Jane at 822-9104 to register.
