Five Things You Need To Know Today, January 23

Today is Wednesday, Jan. 23. Here are five things you need to know:

 

Trash Pickup Delay: Remember, due to Monday's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday, trash and recycling pickup in Coventry will be on a one-day delay schedule for the week.

BJ's CHS Fundraiser Deadline: Today is the last day to take part in Coventry High School's special BJ's fundraising offer. Staff, friends and families of the school can get $10 off the $50 Annual Membership Fee, an additional three months of membership (15 total) and a second membership card for a household member. $5 of your Membership Fee will be donated to CHS' Climate and Culture Committee to develop programs and other initiatives to improve the culture in the building. Plan Ahead - School Safety Forum: On Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m., Coventry Public Schools will host a School Safety & Security Forum at Coventry High School for parents and members of the community to discuss changes to the district's safety and security practices.
