CEDC Free Small Business Seminar: The Coventry Economic Development Commission is hosting a series of free seminars and workshops this week designed to help businesses increase their market share and help those wishing to start a new business to increase their probability of success. All entrepreneurs in RI are invited to today's four hour workshop in the Coventry Town Hall Council Chambers (1670 Flat River Rd.) from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.: Effective Business Plan Writing & Finance Boot Camp: Presented by David Lucier CPA.

Medicare Meeting: Coventry seniors are invited to attend a free informative meeting hosted by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island today at the Coventry Department of Human Services (50 Wood St.) at 10:45 a.m. Blue Cross representatives will talk about initial election periods and/or the general Medicare process. It also is an opportunity to learn about the range of options available from BCBSRI.

Free Blood Pressure Screening: Avoid health complications by keeping your blood pressure in check! Hope Library (374 North Rd., Hope) offers free blood pressure screenings on Wednesdays from 1:30-4:30 and 6-8 p.m.

CPL Evening Storytime: Children ages 3-8 are invited to the Coventry Public Library tonight at 6:30 p.m. for an evening story program featuring stories, fingerplays, flannelboards, songs and crafts. Kids are invited to wear their PJs, too! No registration required.
