Coventry Woman Trying to Save Paralyzed Puppy

"Angel" is a six-month-old Samoyed with nerve damage.

A Coventry woman is trying to raise money to save her paralyzed puppy.

"Angel" is a six-month-old Samoyed. Owner Donna Glickman said the dog has nerve damage and can't use her hind legs.

She said three veterinarians told her Angel should be put to sleep because her care would be too expensive.

"I don't want to give up," Glickman told NBC 10.

She's trying to raise money through Companion Bridge, an online community for pet owners trying to deal with costly care.

Glickman said the money would go toward therapy and wheeled harnesses that help Angel move around. The YouTube video above shows Angel playing in a harness.
