Due to hazardous weather conditions caused by the ongoing snowstorm, Coventry officials have ordered that all municipal offices remain closed for Friday, Jan. 3, 2014.
Closed offices include Town Hall and Annex, Library, Public Works (DPW), Parks & Recreation, Human/Senior Services and clerical offices at police and fire departments.

Emergency services will remain operational, as will DPW snow removal and road treatment services. As announced Thursday Coventry schools have canceled classes for Friday and trash/recycling collection will run on a 2-day delayed schedule through the weekend.
The Public Works Department can be reached in the case of a service emergency at (401) 822-9110, however residents are asked to contact police and fire departments later in the day as DPW will technically remain closed along with other town offices.
