Ruth M. Lussier, 89, Former Owner of Lussier Realty Insurance

Ruth M. Lussier, 89, of One Saint Elizabeth Way, East Greenwich, RI passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the Saint Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich, RI. Born in West Greenwich, RI, she was the wife of the late Alphonse O.J. Lussier. She was the daughter of the late Thurston Albro and S. Alida (Verrier) Grundy.

 Ruth and "Al" worked together at Lussier Realty Inc. for fifteen years. She was an avid tennis player and fan, and enjoyed knitting especially for her church bazaar.

 She is survived by four children; Kathleen A. Robbins, Rev. Dr. Bradford D. Lussier, Nancy J. White and Lori L. Perkins, as well as six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers; Ralph, Merrill, Howard and Clifford Albro, a sister; Lois Rathbun, and a granddaughter; Jennifer E. Robbins-Sisson.

 Her funeral will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 9:00 am from the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home and Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at the Ss. John and James Church, 20 Washington Street, West Warwick, RI.

 Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 pm. Burial will be at the Mapleroot Cemetery, in Coventry, RI.
