Patricia J. Hall (Waldeck) made her journey to heaven on Thursday, January 30, 2014. She passed at home in the arms of her loving family. Patty was the wife of Harry Hall Jr. for 53 wonderful years.
Born in East Greenwich, RI, she was the daughter of the late Rose Lillian Waldeck (Penardo), who raised her with Grover Vlerick. Patty and her husband Harry raised their family in Warwick, RI (Bay Ridge) for 23 years before moving to Coventry, RI. She formally owned the Phone Booth, Twice is Nice, and Father & Son's Family Restaurant.
Besides her husband Harry, she is survived by her children; Deborah Brown, Donna Charette, Harry Hall III, and Kerrie Amato (Hall), her son-in-laws; Stephen Brown, Rene Charette, and William Zanni; and her daughter-in-law; Sherry Jones. Mom and Dad opened her home and heart to raise two daughters; Tracy MacDonald (Allen) and Krystal DiGiovanni (Tortolani). She leaves her grandchildren; Jennifer Crugnale (Buonanno), Chelsey Rose, Emily Brown, Devin Hall, Justin Amato, William Brown, and Brayden Hall; and her great granddaughter; Italia Crugnale as well as Audrie Tortolani and Lorenzo DiGiovanni and Andrea DiGiovanni. She is the sister of and survived by; David and his wife Pat, Kenneth and his wife Shirley, John, Michael and his wife Debbie, Joan and her husband Rod Miller, Nicole and her husband Pete Hebert, Pamela Langevin, Barbara and her husband Bill Burghardt, Cheryle Waldeck and her partner Delores, and the late James Waldeck who is survived by his wife Paula. She is survived by her goddaughters; Angie Waldeck Monson and Trisha DiRaimo (Waldeck) and several nieces and nephews. Patty will be missed by her family and many friends.
Family and friends are invited to join together for calling hours in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI, on Monday, February 3, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial to follow at St. Josephs Cemetery, West Greenwich, RI.
