Margaret M. Campanile, 79, of Mapledale Street, Coventry, RI passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014.

Margaret M. Campanile, 79, of Mapledale Street, Coventry, RI, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of the late Albert Campanile. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Jennie (Mayers) Fontaine.

She was a textile worker for the former Engineer Yarn in Coventry, RI. She also worked in the jewelry industry and was a bus monitor for the town of West Warwick.

She is survived by her two children; Diana M. Begin and Cheryl M. McWilliams, four grandchildren; Charlene, Jennifer, Albert, and Michelle, eight great grandchildren and was predeceased by one great grandson. She was also predecesed by her sister; Madeline Attruia and three brothers; Ernest, John, and James Fontaine.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 9:00 am from the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home and Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Vincent de Paul Church located on 6 St. Vincent de Paul Street, Coventry, RI. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Burial will be at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter, RI.
