Assembly Theatre Now Available for Rentals; New Venue for Performing Artists, School Events, Theatre & Dance Group Recitals and Rehearsals

The Assembly Theatre is now available to be rented for a wide variety of theatrical, educational and social functions. Specifically, performing artists, schools and various organizations now have a new venue with state of the art sound and lighting technology in addition to a stage and theater seating for up to 350 people.  In the announcement made by the Board of Administration chairman, Nancy Binns noted, “for quite a while people have contacted us to rent the theatre and its facilities for their theatrical performances, dance class rehearsal, recitals and weddings.”

The new Administrator of the Assembly Theatre, Christine Langlois commented “We are looking to maximize the theatre’s potential and to make it available to a wider audience, and to continue to bring a variety of cultural events to our community.” The Assembly Theatre is located at 26 East Avenue in Harrisville, RI.
