Community Update

Ronald Arver, 65, of Acorn Street, Coventry, RI, passed away on November 6, 2013 at the Providence VA Medical Center, Providence, RI. Born in Providence, RI, he was the husband of the late Susan (Ryan) Arver and the son of the late Dale and Helen E. (Woods) Arver.

Ronald was a batch maker for Hoechst Celanese for six years. He was a US Marine serving in the Vietnam War. He belonged to the Coventry Men's Club.

He is survived by two children; Ronald Arver, Jr. and Joshua D. Arver, two brothers; James F. Arver and Kevin R. Wise, and three sisters; Deborah Peloquin, Donna M. Reinhart and Tina L. Despres. He was predeceased by a sister; Linda Burdick.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held prior from 9:00 to 11:00 am. Burial with full military honors will be held in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
