Seed Exchange Kickoff Event Thursday at CPL (and 4 More Things)

    CPL Seed Exchange: Tonight at 7 p.m., the Coventry Public Library will host its CO-Greene Seed Exchange Kickoff Event (Snow Date Jan. 30)! The CO-Greene Seed Exchange is a Seed Lending Library that will focus on seed-saving, gardening tips and free seed distribution. Master Gardener and Coventry Community Garden founder Gail Tatangelo will be the evening's presenter. Call Gail Slezak for more information at 397-3873. Register by calling the Library at 822-9014.

    CPD Safety Event: Today from 12-3 p.m. the Coventry Police Department will hold a free Child Seat Installation and Kids Workshop at Crystal Cleansers in Coventry Shoppers Park.

    Historic District Commission: Tonight at 6 p.m., the Coventry Historic District Commission will meet at Town Hall to discuss community involvement, potential future historic town districts and more. Click here to view this evening's agenda.

    PV Community Chorus Rehearsals: Tonight at 7 p.m., the Pawtuxet Valley Community Chorus will resume rehearsals for the 2014 Spring Season at West Warwick High School (1 Webster Knight Dr., West Warwick). Rehearsals are held each Thursday. New members are welcome but must sign up by Feb. 13. Email pvchorus@gmail.com or visit www.pvchorus.com for more information.

    Coming Up - Athletic Hall of Fame: On Saturday, Jan. 25, Coventry Public Schools will induct six individuals as the newest members of the district's Athletic Hall of Fame.
