    CFD Board Meeting: Tonight at 6 p.m., the Coventry (Anthony) Fire District Board of Directors will meet at the CFD station, located at 571 Washington Street. Click here to view this evening's agenda.

    Holiday Storytimes: Registration is now open for the Coventry Public Library's series of Holiday Storytimes taking place on Dec. 9, 10, 11 and 12. Parents and guardians may click here to view program details and age requirements before calling 822-9102 to register.

    Greene Library November Craft: For the month of November, Greene Library (179 Hopkins Hollow Rd.,Greene) will offer a Needle Felted Sheep Ornament craft lesson each Tuesday afternoon. This fuzzy sheep ornament is simple to make and can be displayed year round. $5 fee per person includes supplies and instruction. Call 397-3873 to register.

    CPD Seeks Few Good Men/Women: The Coventry Police Department has opened the application process for a police officer eligibility list. Applicants who successfully complete the process will be added to a list of candidates eligible to attend the training academy and be considered for police officer positions within the Department as they become available. Applications may be obtained at CPD, Town Hall or by clicking here, and must be returned with all required documents and $20 testing fee by 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 6, 2013. Click here for complete details, application and documents.
