Planning Commission Meets Tonight (and 4 More Things)

    Planning Commission: Tonight at 7 p.m., the Coventry Planning Commission will meet at Town Hall (1670 Flat River Rd.) to discuss a sidewalk for the proposed Waterman Hill Road Minor Subdivision and various items of old business. Click here to view this evening's agenda.

    18+ Bingo: The Coventry Senior Center (50 Wood St.) will hold Bingo today and every Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. The cost is $4 plus Specials. All are welcome, but must be 18 years and older to play.

    Not Your Grandmother's Quilts at NEFA: Tonight at 7 p.m. New England Farm and Artist (NEFA), (1112 Main Street), is offering "Not Your Grandmother's Quilts" - an informal discussion with local artist Lorraine Landroche. Lorraine will speak about her art pieces and trace her path of discovery as she found her way of expressing her inspiration through quilting. $15 per person. To register, click here (and scroll down) to RSVP, email coordinator@farmandartist.com, call Ellen at 744-1702 or simply drop by the store!

    Don't Forget: Tomorrow, Nov. 21, is a half day for students attending Coventry Public Schools due to parent/teacher conferences. There will be no school for Kindergarten (both a.m. and p.m.) or Pre-K students and lunches will not be served. Check with your child's school for specific dismissal times.

    Tomorrow - District 1 Community Forum: At 7 p.m. tomorrow, Nov. 21, Ann Dickson, Coventry District 1 School Committee Member and Karen Carlson, Coventry District 1 Town Councilwoman, would like to invite District 1 residents to a public forum to be held at the Greene Public Library (179 Hopkins Hollow Rd., Greene) to share thoughts, questions and suggestions about our town – its government and its schools. Click here for more information.
