Nathanael Greene Presentation Tonight at CPL (and 4 More Things)

    CPL Presents… Tonight at 7 p.m., the Coventry Public Library will host Janet Uhlar, who will speak on the life Gen. Nathanael Greene. Uhlar has written a biography of Coventry's most famous citizen, entitled Freedom's Cost. To register or for more information, call Jane at 822-9104.

    Greene Library November Craft: For the month of November, Greene Library (179 Hopkins Hollow Rd.,Greene) will offer a Needle Felted Sheep Ornament craft lesson each Tuesday afternoon. This fuzzy sheep ornament is simple to make and can be displayed year round. $5 fee per person includes supplies and instruction. Call 397-3873 to register.

    Coventry Meetings: Tonight at 5:30 p.m., the Coventry School Building Committee will meet at the Town Hall Annex (1675 Flat River Rd.) to discuss progress being made on the remaining school improvement projects.     Tomorrow - Informational Grief Session: At 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, Alan Shawn Feinstein Middle School administrators have invited Friends Way of Warwick to present an informational session for parents on “How to help your child through the grief process”. Parents can come to learn about how to talk to their child about their grief. Due to recent unfortunate events within the Coventry school community, officials believe this is a great opportunity for families. The adult-only presentation will be held in the ASFMS Media Center (15 Foster Drive).
