Senior Center Hosts December Breakfast Today (and 4 More Things)

    Breakfast in December: Today from 7:30 to 9 a.m., the Coventry Senior Center, located at 50 Wood Street, will host a December Breakfast. For $3, guests can enjoy eggs, choice of bacon or sausage, French toast of English muffin, with juice, coffee and tea. All are welcome!

    Editor on Vacation: Christmas is behind us and 2013 is coming to a close - which means that it's about time for me to hide my laptop and take some much-needed vacation time. I will be away from Patchlandia from Dec. 24 until Thursday, Jan. 2. Meanwhile, please contact Associate Regional Editor Patrick Luce at patrick.luce@patch.com with urgent matters.

    Toddler Stories and Songs in Greene: The Greene Public Library, located at 179 Hopkins Hollow Road, Greene, will host Toddlers, Tunes & Tales today and each Friday morning from 10-10:30 a.m. The program is intended for children ages 1-3 accompanied by a parent or caregiver and will feature songs, movement and a fun story.     Knitting Group: If you knit or would like to learn, join the Coventry Senior Center Knitting Group, which meets at 50 Wood Street at 9:30 a.m. today and each Friday morning. A great way to socialize, make new friends and gain a useful skill and hobby!

    Winter Program Registration: Registration is now open for Parks & Recreation's Winter Programs. Signups can be completed at the Community Center between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Most programs begin the second week in January. Click here to view the Winter Program flyer.
