CPD to Host Child Safety Event Today (and 4 More Things)

CPD Safety Event: Today from 4 to 7 p.m. the Coventry Police Department will hold a free Child Seat Installation and Kids Workshop at Anytime Fitness, located at 55 Sandy Bottom Rd.

Editor on Vacation: Christmas is behind us and 2013 is coming to a close - which means that it's about time for me to hide my laptop and take some much-needed vacation time. I will be away from Patchlandia from Dec. 24 until Thursday, Jan. 2. Meanwhile, please contact Associate Regional Editor Patrick Luce at patrick.luce@patch.com with urgent matters.

Greene Library Book Group: From 6 to 7 p.m. this evening, Greene Library, located at 179 Hopkins Hollow Rd., Greene, will host this month's Adult Book Discussion Group. Come sit by the fire and chat about this month's selection, The World's Strongest Librarian by Josh Hanagarne.

Winter Program Registration: Registration is now open for Parks & Recreation's Winter Programs. Signups can be completed at the Community Center between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Most programs begin the second week in January. Click here to view the Winter Program flyer.
