Coventry High School to Host Flu Vaccination Clinic Tonight (and 4 More Things)

Community Blood Drive: Be a hero and donate blood today! The Rhode Island Blood Center will hold a community blood drive from 1:30-4:30 p.m. in the Alan Shawn Feinstein Middle School auditorium (15 Foster Dr.).

CCFD Board Meeting: The Central Coventry Board of Directors will meet this evening at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall Annex auditorium (1675 Flat River Rd.). Click here to view tonight's agenda. 

18+ Bingo: The Coventry Senior Center (50 Wood St.) will hold Bingo today and every Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. The cost is $4 plus Specials. All are welcome, but must be 18 years and older to play.

School Vaccination Clinic: Members of the Coventry school community including students, faculty, staff, parents and siblings are invited to take advantage of a flu vaccination clinic being held from 4-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13 at Coventry High School (40 Reservoir Rd.). No out of pocket expense. If you have insurance, be sure to bring your card, however no money will be collected. Click here to pre-register and fill out forms ahead of time. Registration may also be done at the clinic.

Steak Fry Reservations: Today is the last day to make reservations for the Coventry Men's Club Steak Fry, scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15 at the Club, located at 30 Phillips Hill Road. A steak dinner costs $12.99, chicken $10.00. Live music will follow. Reservations must be made by Nov. 13 by calling (401) 385-3536.

Bonus #6 - Attention Aspiring CHS Journalists: The next meeting of the Coventry High School student newspaper, The Entry, will take place at 2 p.m. today with Ms. Plante in room 508. Members of The Entry staff will be planning the next issue. All students are welcome.
