    Zen Drawing at NEFA: Tonight from 7-8:30 p.m. New England Farm and Artist (NEFA), (1112 Main Street), is offering a introductory class on "Zen Drawing". Participants will learn the basics of finding focus and contentment through the art of drawing with a fine pen and paper. Fee is $20 per person which includes materials, instruction and a kit to take home to continue practicing.     Help a Local Family: Donations are still being collected to benefit 11-year-old Coventry resident Jacob Matarese, who has a variety of conditions that make life difficult. Jake and his family have partnered with 4 Paws for Ability in order to get him a service dog, but they need your help! Click here to learn more about Jacob and this great local cause.

    Dog Park Fundraising Help: Lisa Finneran, President of the newly-formed Coventry Dog Park Association, is looking for volunteers to help raise donations to go towards building the highly-anticipated dog park behind the Town Hall Annex on Flat River Road. If you are interested, or have suggestions for raising funds, contact Lisa at Lfinneran12@gmail.com.

    Plan Ahead - Christmas Tree Lighting: Join the festivities Wednesday evening at the 24th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting at the Coventry Community Center! The event begins at 5:45 p.m., just in time for Santa's 6:00 arrival! Sing Christmas carols with the Pawtuxet Valley Community Chorus and enjoy cookies while witnessing the lighting of the town's new Christmas tree which was only lit for the first time last year!
