CBA Walk-In Registration Today at Paine Field (and 4 More Things)

Animal Experience at CPL: At 11 a.m. today, the Coventry Public Library will host "Animal World Experience", a program for children ages 3-12 featuring crafty critters that dig! Kids will learn about the animals and have an opportunity to touch and pet a variety of them. No registration required.

Dog Park Fundraising Help: Lisa Finneran, President of the newly-formed Coventry Dog Park Association, is looking for volunteers to help raise donations to go towards building the highly-anticipated dog park behind the Town Hall Annex on Flat River Road. If you are interested, or have suggestions for raising funds, contact Lisa at Lfinneran12@gmail.com.

CBA Registration: Registration is now open for the Coventry Basketball Association's (CBA) 2013-2014 season! Registration can be done online at www.coventrybasketball.com or during the CBA's walk-in registration today, Aug. 15 from 7-9 p.m. at Paine Field. Birth certificates are required for new players. Participants must be 6 years old by Aug. 31 or no older than 17 by Aug. 31.

WCFD Board Meeting: The Western Coventry Fire District Board of Directors will meet at 7 p.m. tonight at Summit Station (1110 Victory Hwy., Greene). Click here to view this evening's agenda.
