    Free Chicken Samples! From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, stop by Walmart (650 Centre of New England Blvd.) to check out the "Cooked Perfect Bites Mobile Sampling Tour". Cooked Perfect representatives will be handing out free samples of their chicken snack bites, while offering the chance to play fun games, listen to music and, receive coupons and participate in giveaways. Click here for more information.

    School Bus Schedules: Coventry Public Schools are back in session for the 2013-2014 school year beginning Aug. 28,  just one week from today! Be sure that everyone knows where and when to catch the bus this year by clicking here to view schedules for each school.

    Crafters Needed: Members of the Western RI Civic Historical Society are currently seeking crafters and vendors for the 4th Annual Paine House Museum Heritage Day to take place on Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Paine House on Station Street. If interested, contact Sandy at 821-2444.

    Attention Incoming CHS Seniors: Coventry High School Principal Mike Hobin would like to remind incoming seniors that if they have not had their senior portrait sitting yet, they should make arrangements to do so ASAP. Photographs should be taken and a yearbook photo should be selected from proofs no later than Friday, Sept. 13, 2013
