School Building Committee Meets Tonight (and 4 More Things)

CPL Fall Programs for Kids: Registration is now open for both Coventry residents and non-residents who would like to sign their children up for Coventry Public Library's Fall Youth Service Programs. Click here for a list of programs. To register, call 822-9102.

School Building Committee Meeting: At 5:30 p.m. this evening, the Coventry School Building Committee will meet at the School Administration Offices (1675 Flat River Road) to discuss construction updates, invoice approvals and more. Click here to view tonight's agenda.

Elks Fall Pitch Card League: The Coventry-West Greenwich Elks Lodge (42 Nooseneck Hill Road, West Greenwich) will hold its Fall Pitch (Hi-Lo-Jack) Card League on tonight, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. and will continue at that time each Thursday. Cost is $5 per person per week. All adults welcome. At the end of the season, prizes will be handed out at an awards dinner. For more information, call Denise at 226-5053.

Attention CHS Seniors: Coventry High School Principal Mike Hobin would like to remind incoming seniors that if they have not had their senior portrait sitting yet, they should make arrangements to do so ASAP. Photographs should be taken and a yearbook photo should be selected from proofs no later than tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 13, 2013. 

Coventry Center Reunion Reservations: Saturday, Sept. 14 is the deadline to reserve your spot at the 18 Annual Coventry Center Reunion, scheduled for Sept. 22, from 12-5 p.m. at the Coventry Men's Club on Phillips Hill Road. A chicken dinner will be served at 1 p.m. Cost is $12 per person and reservations can be made by calling 823-8837. Invite a friend, all are welcome!
