DESCRIPTION:The Department of Environmental  Management's Division of Par
 ks and Recreation has announced that it will  administer conditional non
 -surf and surf lifeguard certification tests  on Wednesday\, May 23 and 
 Thursday\, May 24\, and again next month.\nNon-surf tests will be given 
 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 23\, June 13  and June 28 at the Prosser Gr
 ove Picnic Area at Burlingame State Park  in Charlestown.\nSurf tests wi
 ll be given from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 24 and June 14 at Scarborough S
 tate Beach in Narragansett.\nThere is a $10.00 fee for the state certifi
 cation card\, which must be paid prior to the card being issued.\nTo qua
 lify for testing\, all candidates must have successfully  completed cour
 ses and hold valid cards in lifeguard training\, first aid\,  and CPR th
 at includes infant\, child\, and adult.&nbsp\; Candidates also must  be 
 at least 16 years of age and must present a photo I.D. with  verificatio
 n of date of birth. Any candidate under the age of 18 must be  accompani
 ed by a parent or guardian to sign the waiver/application  form.\nIn cas
