The department of Planning and Development is located in the Town Hall Annex on Flat River Road. Using Coventry's Comprehensive Community Plan, Subdivision and Land Development Regulations, and zoning ordinances, the department determines existing land use, traffic patterns and circulation, natural resources, and social and economic conditions within the town. This information is then used to outline the goals and objectives for sustainable growth and development within the town.
