DESCRIPTION:Once every four years\, Swedish-American singers from across 
 the United States gather in convention to share their love of Swedish an
 d American song. &nbsp\;This year\, we are fortunate to have this event 
 in New England. &nbsp\;The American Union of Swedish Singers (or AUSS) w
 ill converge in New Haven from June 26-30\, with a public Grand Concert 
 with 300 singers to be held on Friday evening\, June 29 at 7:30 pm in th
 e beautiful Lyman Auditorum at Southern CT State University\, 501 Cresce
 nt Street\, New Haven. &nbsp\;A guest chorus and two guest conductors fr
 om Sweden will participate\, including the leading conductor and pianist
 \, H&aring\;kan Sund\, and conductor and composer\, Lennart Johansson. &
 nbsp\;This is your opportunity to experience the incredible beauty of th
 e Swedish song literature and American songs as well. The last time this
  event was held in Connecticut was 1978\, in Bridgeport.&nbsp\; Tickets 
 are available through Lyman Center (203-392-6154) or at the door: $10\,
