What's Open/Closed on Thanksgiving in Coventry?

Need to venture out on Thanksgiving or Black Friday? Check here for a list of openings and closings around town.

 

 

Whether you're heading out or staying in for this Thanksgiving, you may need to make an emergency trip out into town. Where should you go if you run out of tin foil? What if you want to get a quick workout in before the binge? 

We've compiled a list of businesses and offices in town and their holiday store hours.  If you know of more businesses that are open or closed, help out your fellow neighbors by leaving them in the comments

Town Offices:

Retail Stores/Pharmacies:

Walmart - Closed on Thursday, open at 1 a.m. Friday

CVS - Both locations will be open normal hours Thursday and Friday. (Tiogue Ave. - 24 hours, New London Tpke. - 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.)

Walgreens - Store will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday. Normal hours Friday.

Rite Aid - Store will be open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and the pharmacy 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Thursday. Normal hours Friday/

Grocery/Liquor Stores:

Stop & Shop - Closed Thursday, regular hours (6 a.m. - midnight) on Friday

Tom's Market - Closed Thursday, regular hours (8 a.m. - 7 p.m.) on Friday

Dave's Marketplace - Closed Thursday, regular hours (7 a.m. - 9 p.m.) on Friday

Borelli's Bakery - Open 7 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Thursday, regular hours Friday

Depetrillo's Pizza and Bakery - Closed Thursday, regular hours Friday

Shopper's Liquors - Closed Thursday, open regular hours Friday

Coventry Wine & Liquor - Closed Thursday, open regular hours Friday

Anthony's Wine & Spirits - Closed Thursday, open regular hours Friday

Bill's Package Store - Closed Thursday, open regular hours Friday

Crestwood Wine & Spirits - Closed Thursday, open regular hours Friday

Banks:

All Coventry locations are closed on Thanksgiving, open regular hours Friday 

Gyms:

Planet Fitness - Closes at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Open 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. Thursday, Re-opens at 6 a.m. Friday

Anytime Fitness - Open regular members hours

The Gym for Women - Open for pre-scheduled Thanksgiving classes until 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, closing at 10 a.m. on Friday after morning classes.

If you're wondering about any other establishment, find their contact information in our directory. Be sure to call ahead to your favorite local businesses before venturing out, just in case they have changed their hours for Thanksgiving, Black Friday or Small Business Saturday.
