Well, well well. So Mr. Mays and his goon squad is at it again. This proposal to modifying the charter of the Western Coventry Fire District is something that all residents of WCFD need to be very careful with. The board of directors is trying, as usual, to pull a fast one on the taxpayers. Notice that the modification includes changing the word "taxpayer" to "Qualified Voter", who must be a RESIDENT of the district in order to vote. In other words, if you own property in the district but don't live in the district, you are not entitled to vote. So if you own a home in the district, pay taxes on that home to the town and to WCFD, but live outside of the district, you are not entitled to a vote. Notice how they just throw that in there without fully explaining it? What if I own a home in WCFD but rent it out. I pay taxes but I cannot vote. Are you serious?

These cronies have been ruining the District for years..... and now they are taking away your ability right to vote. Political agendas and backdoor dealings are still alive in Western Coventry! Mr. Mays and Mr. Humble are well-known in town as power-hungry, but this has gone too far.
