Up For Adoption: Two Adult Cats and a Black Lab

Coventry Animal Control currently has three animals in need of loving homes.

Ready for an addition to your family? How about a furry, cuddly one? The Coventry Animal Control officers asked me to stop by yesterday to photograph these boys in hopes of finding them forever homes.

Ready and waiting are two adult male cats, estimated to be about 8 or 9 years old. Both are neutered, vaccinated and have tested negative for feline leukemia.

Both are very friendly and are thought to have been roaming outside for some time before being found by Animal Control officers. The gray cat is declawed in the front - a trait that may stick out for anyone missing their pet.

There is also a neutered Black Lab, thought to be about 2-years-old who was recently found wandering near Briar Point Beach. He's very energetic, well-behaved and would make a great companion for an active family.

Want to adopt one of these furry friends? Contact Coventry Animal Control at 401-822-9106 or stop by the pound, located behind Town Hall, 1670 Flat River Rd.
