Several sixth grade students at ASFMS have recently earned the title, "published author".

This fall, Creative Communications invited students to create original poems for possible publication in this year's poetry anthology. The students who have been recognized for their original poetry, creativity, and will have their poems published are Elizabeth Kenney, Josh Choppy, Madison Jencks, Kelton Latour, Megan Leonard, Delaney Ryan, Marissa Senerchia, Lauren Tanner and Cara Turner. 

These students are also eligible to win prizes for their efforts. 

"It is truly an accomplishment to be a published author in sixth grade," said teacher Linda Middleton in a release to Coventry Patch. "This publication does not publish every entry it receives."

Creative communications has been working with schools & teachers in promoting writing for over 18 years.
