• Final paving course is scheduled to begin on Tiogue Avenue and Sandy Bottom Road Sunday night at 8 p.m. Three or four nights are needed to complete this final pavement layer. Each nightof paving will conclude with pavement markings being applied to the new layer by 8 a.m. (Wet weather will suspend or delay paving operations.)    

• Some miscellaneous daytime work could occur later in week along shoulders between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.      

Motorists will be notified in advance of any major changes to this schedule.

Looking Ahead

The week beginning August 5, 2012: Install loop wire for traffic signals at the Stop and Shop and Hopkins Hill Road intersections, and also on Tiogue Avenue at Arnold Road/ Sandy Bottom Road intersection. Clean and flush all drainage pipes and catch basins on Tiogue Avenue.
