Readers' Choice: Best Liquor Store In Town

Vote on which local liquor store is your go-to for all your beer, wine and liquor needs.

You might not know it from the March-like weather Rhode Island experienced last week, but the unofficial start of summer — Memorial Day — is only a couple weeks away. That means it's time to break out the BBQ pit, stock the freezer with grillable meats and — of course — fill the fridge with your favorite adult beverages.

Maybe you want to cool down with an ice-cold beer, relax on the deck with a refreshing vodka-tonic, or fill your glass with your favorite red or white varietal. Whether it's beer, wine or liquor you crave, there is no shortage of package stores in the area to supply you with your favorite spirit.

Just about any liquor store will carry plenty of Jack Daniels, Absolut, Sam Adams and a typical assortment of table wines. But any true connoisseur knows it's all about the selection. And some liquor stores are better than others at stocking the highest end whiskey or most obscure microbrew. So we want to know from you: Which liquor store in Coventry provides the widest variety of spirits, has the best prices, and is your go-to place to meet your adult beverage needs?

Is Shopper's Liquors or Anthony's Wine & Spirits the best? What about Coventry Wine & Liquor, Bill's Package Store, or Crestwood Wine & Spirits?

Vote in our poll below, then share your thoughts in the comments section. If we left your favorite package store off the list, note that in the comments as well.

We'll leave the poll up all week then close voting at 9 a.m. Friday. At noon that day, we'll share your top local pick. Then be sure to watch the site over the weekend when we tally up the top votes and announce the liquor stores that got the most rave reviews across all of our Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts sites.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

Crestwood is a great business. Mike (the owner?) is always around, very friendly guy who can help you out if you are new to wine, champagne or anything else in the store. Their prices are competitive and the selection is huge.
