Pit Puppies

Ready for an addition to your family? Stop by Coventry Animal Control at 1670 Flat River Rd. to adopt one of these cuties that need forever homes.

The pound currently has five eight-week-old Pitbull puppies available for adoption, four girls and one boy. Two of the puppies currently have Myopathy, a muscular disease in which the muscle fibers do not function for any one of many reasons, resulting in muscular weakness, but a recent vet checkup predicts that the puppies will grow out of that.

All five puppies are playful and healthy and love to pigpile on one another and chase toy balls.

Potential owners need to be aware that in most cases, insurance is needed to own a Pitbull renters need to show a notarized letter from their landlord stating that they are allowed to own the specific breed before an adoption can take place.

The cost to adopt one of the puppies is $40, $30 of which is returned to the owner once proof of spay/neuter is brought to Animal Control.

Call Animal Control on Monday at 822-9106 for availability.

Female Rat Terrier

Animal Control also has a rambunctious female Rat Terrier that officers believe to be around eight years of age. Come meet this little lady and give her the chance to fit right in with the rest of the family!
