Post Your Snow Pics on Patch

The first significant snowstorm in a year is here! Share your pictures with Patch.

We haven't seen much snow around here in almost a full calendar year, but the first significant snowstorm of the season looks to be hitting overnight Saturday.

The forecasts vary greatly — calling in Coventry for as little as 2 inches on the low end to as many as 8 on the high end — but it seems likely the area will get at least some significant snowfall. As of 4:43 p.m. on Friday, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Rhode Island and Southeast Massachusetts that will be in effect from Saturday morning through Sunday morning.

The novelty of the white stuff after a full year is sure to bring winter lovers outside. Sunday should bring mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the low-30s, perfect conditions to head out and enjoy the snow. We want to share in your fun.

Whether you build a snowman, take a stroll through the woods or watch the kids battle it out in a good ole fashioned snowball fight, we want to see your pictures. Simply click the "Upload Photos and Videos" button on the right, or add them to our Pics & Clips page

We also want to keep track of snowfall totals around the town. Let us know in the comments section below how much fell in your backyard.
