At one time I thought Castle was the very best fries anywhere.No longer,they are sliced too thin, overcooked and very hard. I wish somone would tell them to make them just a bit larger. The worst fries are from Chelo's. Much too big and very tasteless.

Mesa Grille and Cafe makes HOME MADE CHIPS!!! They rival those at the Capital Grille. This place is a hidden treasure. AWESOME food.

Actually I think a franchise wins on french fries. And my choice is Chili's. The one I visit is next to Lincoln Mall in Lincoln, RI. I assume all other Chili's locations make their fries the same? I hope so. Maybe somebody knows if they do.
