July 17, 2012:
Hello,
There is a boy in our town who is 11 years old, his name is Christopher
and he attends . Chris has Hodgkin's Lymphoma, he had it about two years ago and went through treatment and now he has it again.

We feel so bad that he has to go through this all over again. We want to give him a chance to be able to forget a little while about his treatments and his sickness. We know how hard it is for Chris and his family to live through this because we had a cousin who passed away when she four years old of brain cancer.
We were thinking about a few things that he likes to do, fishing, basketball, ATV four-wheeling, and if we could collect enough money we could send him on a vacation to do one of these things.
Our plan is to do collections at some stores, selling "Coventry Cares for
Chris" bracelets for $5.00, and ask people for donations. 100% of all donations will go directly to Chris. Any donation would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Elizabeth Conlan, Washington Oak School
Julia Tremblay, Hopkins Hill School
If you would like to purchase a bracelet please contact the girls' grandmother and supervisor, Marguerite, at 497-8832 to obtain the mailing address to send $5.00.
Editor's Note: As of Monday night, the girls have raised $1,001.00 and are hoping to continue their success!
