A number of local businesses are saluting veterans, military service men and women, and their families this Veterans Day by offering local discounts, specials and promotions.

Make sure to check below if deals are valid on Sunday (Veterans Day), or both Monday (Veterans Day observed) and Sunday. 

For military service men and women only:

• Applebee's: Free dinners to active duty military and veterans throughout the day on Sunday. The nearest Applebee's is located at 830 Centre of New England Blvd., Coventry.

• Denny's: Get all you can eat pancakes for all active duty military and veterans with a valid ID on Monday. The nearest location is 785 Centre of New England Blvd., Coventry.

• Chili's: Free Veterans Day Meal on Sunday. Qualifying participants have their choice of one of six entrees. The nearest Chili's is located at 1276 Bald Hill Rd., Warwick.

• Outback Steakhouse: Free "blooming onion" appetizer on menu, and beverage, on Sunday and Monday. The nearest Outback is located in at 1000 Division St., East Greenwich.

• UNO Chicago Grill: Free entree or individual pizza with an entree or pizza purchase of equal or greater value on Sunday and Monday. The nearest location is at 399 Bald Hill Rd., Warwick.

• Longhorn Steakhouse: Active duty military and veterans get a free appetizer and drink on Monday. Longhorn is located at 400 Bald Hill Rd., #451, Warwick.

• Olive Garden: On Sunday, all veterans and military active duty will receive a choice of 1 of 5 entrees plus unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks. The nearest Olive Garden location is located at 31 Universal Blvd., Warwick.

• On the Border: On Sunday, 15% of purchases will be donated to Carry The Load, plus veterans and active-duty will receive a free entrée certificate, valid up to $10 and good through Nov. 30. The nearest location is 650 Bald Hill Rd., Warwick.

• TGI Friday's: On Monday, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. get a free Veterans Day lunch. The nearest location is 989 Centerville Rd.,
  Warwick.

For Everyone to enjoy:
