Last Thursday, November 3 at 1:30p, I was met by the Coventry Engineer and Town Manager about the fiasco they've created and continue to create with our taxpayer dollars. They used an Open Spaces Grant to desscimate the right of way adjacent to my property on Lake Tiogue. So much so that by 6pm I had to phone 911 to make it a matter of public record. After a deluge of rain, their nice drainage project had succeeded in completely flooding the end of my property (and a portion of the neighbor's) into a mini Lake completely with a waterfall and all. It completely destroyed our beach with erosion. I wonder if the DEM knows about their "guesswork engineering" project, as I was informed by my visitors that "No one knows about this. We got a Grant." Well, I would like as many people as possible to know about it to have this resolved in a professional manner. I'm getting the run around, and really didn't want to get my attorney involved, but now I must.
