An Enchanted Morning with Beauty

Where/When: TiddlyWinks Toys (89 Sandy Bottom Rd.);  Saturday - 10 a.m.

Why Go: Bring your "Princess in Training" on Saturday to meet Belle from Beauty and the Beast and be entertained with songs, storytelling and games while teaching the importance of respecting others, being positive and always following your dreams. Each girl goes home with a princess gift!

Coventry Public Library (Call 822-9102 for more information and to register.)

  • Hooray for Seuss (Ages 4 and up): Feb. 21 at 10:30 a.m. Children are invited to celebrate the popular Dr. Seuss story, The Lorax while enjoying crafts, games, activities and refreshments all presented Seuss-style! Registration is required.

Greene Library: (Call 397-3873 for more information and to register.)

  • LEGO Club (Grades 1-5): Saturdays from 10-11 a.m. - Children in grades 1-5 are invited to bring their imagination to the Library's LEGO Club! Registration is required for this free event.
  • "For the Birds" Craft (Grades K-4): Feb. 22 from 11 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Create a bird feeder! Materials will be provided. Registration is required.
  • Gloria Harrington Chili Cook-Off: Feb. 25 from 6-8 p.m. - Bring a pot of your favorite chili to the library for the cook-off and get free admission. Suggested donation is $5/adult and $2.50/child 5-12 years. This is a Greene Library Association event and BYOB is allowed.
  • Bracelets and Baubles Bash (Grades 3 and up): Feb. 21 from 6-7 p.m. and Feb. 22 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. - A guest jewelry maker is coming to Greene Library to show children and teens how to make bangle bracelets and earrings. A $5 donation for materials is appreciated. Registration is required.

  • Kid's Crafts (Grades K-5): Feb. 21 from 2-3 p.m.
  • Lego Time (Grades K-5): Feb. 22 from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
  • Reader's Theatre Workshop (Grades 3 and up): Feb. 22 from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
  • Family Movie Time: Feb. 23 at 1:30 p.m.
