Is that proper dress for the president onf the Town Council? I may be old school but a Biker vest and ear rings? Really?? Whats next a striper pole in the TC chambers? Maybe we can have a keg party in the spring instead of the FTM. OOOH maybe we can get The JP band to play at it?

Gary's done a great job for our town in the last two years. Don't be a hater. He deserves to be President of the Town Council. Be thankful, without his help your property taxes would have went up. He is a biker but also a very smart businessman. Don't you wish you too were so well rounded?

Completely different issues.
.
Cote is probably a great family man and father, and how he dresses will never change that.
.
On the other hand, Just because a portion of society has decided it's ok to wear pajamas and slippers to stop and shop does not make it proper dress.
Think about this. The president of the Town Council shows up in leathers and bike club vest, REALLY?????
Since when have we lowered the proper dress standard to this level. Missy you may disagree with me and that's ok, but it is disrespectful to me and a large portion of the taxpayers. The fist meeting I went to I was embarrassed for him.
.
we disagree....It doesnt make you right and me wrong

Lowered the dress standard - is this about politics or fashion? Get real and recognize the issues.

First off why were you embarrassed? He doesn't look like he is, so why should you be? and I fully agree with Sue, since when have the important issues for our community been trumped by fashion? Have we really gotten that commercial that the fact that this man has done as much as he has for the people who need help in this community is over looked because he has an ear ring? how trivial and immature. I have know this man for many years and, just for the record, have never once seen him in pajamas and slippers at stop and shop, or anywhere else for that matter, just so you know. The issues are that this man has bent over backwards to help the community keep taxes down as low as possible and help the children in this town get the best education they possibly can, yet all you see is the outer cover? Have never heard that famous saying about the book? Well, it obviously pertains to this very situation. Just because you don't like what he wears doesn't give you any right to bash him, his family or their name. How would you like it if everyone here found out your real name, which you conveniently omitted from your posts, and ran it through the dirt and mud like your doing here with his? and all over a leather vest...really? I mean really now? are you an adult or a teenager?

Don Draper clones is a bygone era; personally I want dedication to service vs. an empty suit.
